Homeschooling was a blessing that we had never expected. We were visiting a wonderful private school, and the director shared with me that she thought that her school was the second best educational option ...second to homeschooling. She then told me that homeschooling was a tradition in her family. Wow!! She will never know what a difference those few words made in our lives! We are really enjoying this journey...wonderful classes, interesting projects, and great friends! Sometimes the resources we have needed were easy to find...other times we've had to really search for them. With Homeschool Phone Book, we hope to help homeschool families in every state quickly and easily find both the local and national resources they will need along the way.

PLEASE HELP! In your area - what are the homeschool favorites for classes, field trips, tutors, supplies, etc.? Since we began homeschooling, questions like these are asked every week... at skating, art class - everywhere. A few years ago, I started saying to my friends... there ought to be an on-line directory where homeschoolers can go to easily find information like this - search via category or keyword, enter their zip code and ...quickly find the information they need! We finally stopped talking about how nice it would be - and decided to create it ourselves. Welcome!
